Mindfulness is the simple act of becoming present, shutting off the negative or distracting flow of random thoughts and creating a sense of mental clarity and wellness. 

Our thoughts are living energy. It is reported that we have between 30,000 - 70,000 random thoughts per day. If the higher percentage of those thoughts are not serving us well, we become stressed, unable to make clear and rational decisions and can't function for our best mental health.
